Aug.1948
Yozo Ihata, the founder of company, founded a business Ihata Shoten to produce and sell the offset print transfer papers at the present address.

Apr.1953
For business expansion the Ihata Shoten was reorganized to acorporate organization, and Nippon Transfer Paper Co., Ltd. was established. Thereafter, the production automation and mechanization were adopted so as to improve transfer paper quality and to nationalize the production process. The production of transfer paper grew year by year, and the company occupied the first place in production output at that time.

Nov.1955
An office was opened in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The transfer paper market was expanded.

Mar.1959
The patented NT Cutter was developed, and its production and selling were started. Then, it was improved and diversified. Owing to unique idea the NT Cutters were finding increasing favor in printing, stationery, drawing materials and hardware businesses and gaining wide acceptance. Their export was growing year by year.

The Tokyo office was established in Nerima-ku, Tokyo (at the present address) to strengthen marketing. Thereafter, the NT Cutters were further diversified.

The patented NT Dresser, a new sanding tool, was developed. In October the production and marketing of the patented NT Dresser were started.

In consideration of growth of phototype process in offset print industry the production and marketing of transfer paper were discontinued.

Kazuhiko Ihata was installed as representative director president.

The name of company was changed to NT Incorporated.

The fortieth anniversary of the company was attained.
